The ICON IRIX ll may be the best development in aviation illumination since the landing lights. This light weight LED headlamp provides hands free lighting from 5 to 50 lumens. On the lowest setting, it provides enough light to read a chart without compromising night adaptation vision in the cockpit. On the highest setting, it will illuminate a dark engine compartment.
